Form Elements

Power-up your forms by hiding or showing relevant or irrelevant Elements in your forms. This allows visitors to focus on what they have to enter versus what they can skip. Furthermore, the same conditional magic used for Form Conditional Submission Templates can be used here!

Conditions

Condition is a comparison that will evaluate true when the Element on the left matches the value on the right. Simply specify the name of the Element and the Value to compare. For tips and suggestions for Element names, please see the "Element Names" section of the Form Elements page.

Comparison

Form Conditionals also support different Comparison methods. This allows you to say, for example, "if the number of guests is greater than 3, request additional emails". Other Comparison methods include:

  • Starts With: the value the visitor enters starts with the Value you specified in the settings

  • Ends With: the value the visitor enters ends with the Value you specified in the settings

  • Empty: the value the visitor enters is empty or missing

  • Not Empty: the value the visitor enters is not empty

  • Equals: the value the visitor enters is equal to the Value you specified in the settings

  • Not Equals: the value the visitor enters is not equal to the Value you specified in the settings

  • Greater than or Equal to: the value the visitor enters is greater than or equal to the Value you specified in the settings

  • Less than or Equal to: the value the visitor enters is less than or equal to the Value you specified in the settings

  • Less than: the value the visitor enters is less than the Value you specified in the settings

  • Greater than: the value the visitor enters is greater than to the Value you specified in the settings

Any vs. All

Any and All are English representations of two logical expressions. ANY, or logical OR, will be true(and send an email) when ANY condition that you define is true. On the other hand, ALL, or logical AND, will be true only when ALL of the conditions that you defined are true. As you can see, this allows you to define any number of conditions to a Template!
